Editing, playback, and export run locally in your browser. Your media files are saved in your own browser's storage on this device — they are never uploaded to Aulyr's cloud, so projects open with their media on the machine that imported it.
Your account profile (email, display name), your project documents (the timeline structure, not the media files), and your plan and usage state are stored in Aulyr's cloud backend so your work follows you between machines. You can delete projects at any time; deleting a project removes its document everywhere.
When you press Generate, the audio track of your timeline is mixed down and streamed to our transcription processing to produce captions; the audio itself is not stored after the run completes. Premium caption rendering streams the video through to the render provider the same way. We don't use your content to train models.
Payments are processed by Whop. Aulyr never sees or stores your card details; we store your subscription state (plan, status, renewal date) to unlock your plan's features.
Aulyr uses sign-in session storage required for the product to function. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
